Lady’s mantle- FERTILITY necklace is made of recycled silver. Its a 100% replica of Lady’s mantle plant which is native to most of Europe, northwest Asia, northeast USA, and Greenland.

In the Middle Ages, Lady’s Mantle was dedicated to the Virgin Mary, hence the name ~Lady’s Mantle, it has long been a healing herb for women, said to promote fertility, regulate the menstrual cycle and ease menopause. It is said that if a female feels her femininity threatened in any way, then bring a vase of these flowers into the house and the feminine spirit will feel strengthened.

I made this pendant from a leaf picked up in Slovenian alps-Velika Planina in November 2017. It comes in a beautiful hand oiled oak jewelry box from Ribnica Slovenia. Designed in Floios studio Ljubljana.
